Dami Roelse
Dami Roelse is a certified life coach and writer. Born and raised in Holland, Dami has traveled the world extensively, lived on different continents and has learned to use her travel as inspiration for living. Dami's book, "Walking Gone Wild, How to lose your age on the trail "is an inspirational guide to walking, hiking, and backpacking for women50plus. Dami is currently working on a memoir which tells about traveling to a remote destination in Ladakh, on the border with China.
Dami uses long-distance hiking and backpacking as a means to deepen her connection with nature and the universe. Aside from trekking in the Himalayas, Europe, and Morocco, Dami has hiked long sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. Look for blogs and reports of her hiking experiences on this website. When not hiking or traveling, Dami makes her home in Ashland, Oregon, a close-knit community of vibrant, engaged and socially responsible people. There she writes, enjoys the fruits of her garden, early morning rows on Emigrant lake and hikes in the Ashland hills.
