Course Logistics
Six sessions, 2 hours each via Zoom.
Fridays from 2/12 to 3/19 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern (12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pacific).
Tuition is $250.
Enrollment will be limited to eight.
Open to writers of all levels, this workshop will be a safe haven where you can write and share poems and insights.
Participants may share previously written and new poems, some of them inspired by guided prompts.
We’ll also discuss poets, storytelling in verse, free verse, rhyme, meter, pacing, and recitation.
Most of all, we’ll have fun discovering poetry’s power to heal and give voice to what has seemed to be voiceless. In the process, we’ll create a sustaining writing community that will inspire and encourage us long after our final meeting.
