Antoinette Kennedy
As a Franciscan nun, Antoinette Kennedy studied literature, theology, and drama. Her mission assignments ranged from the classroom to a skid road hotel, from Assisi, Italy, to an Arapaho reservation in Wyoming. She attended the Northwest Writing Institute at Lewis & Clark College, and received an Oregon Literary Arts Grant and Fishtrap Fellowship, both of which enabled her to continue work on Far from Home. A native Oregonian, she lives in Hillsboro, Oregon. For more information about Antoinette, you can visit her fascinating blog, Starting from Anywhere.
