Elizabeth Whitmore Funk
Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Elizabeth trained as an editor and proofreader at Random House in London and Columbia University Press in New York City. She earned additional training in book publicity and marketing at W.W. Norton, and served as the first Executive Editor of The Truth About the Fact, an international journal of literary nonfiction. She holds a B.A. in creative writing from Vermont College and a M.A. in English literature from Loyola Marymount University.
Cezara Windrem
MBA Intern
Cezara is an MBA student at Georgetown University, where she received the John F. Connelly Scholarship for academic achievement, professional excellence, and leadership in the community. Here at Fuze, Cezara is developing marketing plans for upcoming books and researching the technological future of literature. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and will spend part of her summer studying at Oxford University. In her free time, Cezara enjoys traveling, painting, and classical music.
William Leung
MBA Intern
Will is an MBA candidate at Georgetown University. Having worked as an account manager at an immigration law firm, he is now focusing on finance and business planning for Fuze. Will is originally from California, where he attended the University of California-Berkeley as an undergrad.
Pat Smith
Regional Volunteer
Born in the south but raised in New England, Pat Smith acquired a B.A. in Theatre and English literature from the University of Connecticut. For most of her life she has been involved and worked in both community and professional theatre in various capacities, such as summer stock productions, costume making, and producing. After a 30-year career as a Human Resources Manager, she went back to theatre in Sales and Marketing at a professional Repertory Theatre. She currently lives in Florida and loves reading books with action, mystery, and intrigue—so Satan’s Chamber is one of her favorites!
